Hi! my name is Dino. Since young, I wish I could be a pianist like Beethoven. (You know… the inspiring musician that established by playing piano…)
Well… As I say, is just “I wish” at that moment. At that time, my family background did not allow me to do so… Since then, my dream just fades out as time goes.
Until few months ago, while I am surfing my internet just for my past time, I saw this fantastic and motivating webpage. It gives me back my childhood dreams.
The title it selves, “ROCKET Piano”, already give me an impression that this lesson will teach us the fastest way to learn piano.
Wow!!! ROCKET!!! Fastest way!!!Importantly, it is cater for every learner from beginner to intermediate to advance!!! Great!!! I can be as good as my friends that learn piano for years by using lesser time as compared to my friend learning piano thru conventional method.
Anyway, my main reason to learn piano NOW is to entertain my selves and also people around us. I’m not going to spent most of my time shutting myself up to perfect every key to pass my grade exam.
As a beginner, I have a choice to downloadFREE beginner piano lessons or take up the whole course. I decided to take up the whole course because it include all essentials on top of beginner piano lessons. PLUS, it is much cheaper as compared to learning piano using conventional way.
This learn piano software includes beginner piano lessons. On top Beginner piano lessons, it include intermediate and advance piano lessons as well. It is a series of eBooks, games and MP3.
So as you can see, this is not normal beginner piano lessons but is a learn piano software that gives a comprehensive and FUN learning process.

Question by : What is a good piano piece to play for people?
I have played piano for about four years and I would consider myself at an almost advanced level. I need to learn a piece to play at school for a talent show.
Anything would be good, but not some dumb slow piece or anything like that.
Thanx

Answer by Mr. Intensity I don’t know how good you are but I always like hearing these:
Flight of the bumblebee-Rimsky-Korsakov
La Campanella-Franz Liszt
If these are too hard, try Tifa’s theme from FF7-Advent Children
Question by EmporioALX: What are some good books or ways to learn to play piano and guitar?
I’ve been looking a lot but can’t find any videos or books?

Answer by surfswimmer420 I’m not a real piano player, but a good way to learn how to play some cool songs and understand the basics of piano is by learning on youtube. Maybe start with a song like clocks or something and type in “Clocks piano tutorial” on youtube. Something like that.
Question by : What are some good piano pieces to learn?
I am looking for some piano pieces to learn. Preferably, something moderately easy but not too easy. And something that is classic but sounds good enough to impress people( I have a concert in my piano class in which I have to play a piece to the class lol). So, any suggestions?

Answer by Paul Green I’ve found that Bach’s toccata and fugue in d minor, while technically an organ piece and just a little cliche, does the trick and really isn’t that difficult if you just ignore the bottom line when it isn’t moving.
Sheets for it are on either imslp or free-scores, i don’t remember which.

Question by John S: How long does it take to get good at piano with the best piano learning software?
I asked another question that involved which piano learning software I should go for, and I just remembered that I have another question. Lets say I go out and actually find the best piano learning software out there, (if they actually work). How long would it take me to get pretty decent at piano if I practiced using the lessons for 1-2 hours a day? Can it be done within 6 months?
Best answer:
Answer by Jacob Hi there. I am pretty sure there is a edit button so you can change your question in the other thread, but no worries, I will just answer you here, I have all the time in the world today:)
Its really hard to predict what your results will be like, even with the “best piano learning software”. In my opinion if you were to practice 1-2 hours a day you will get decent pretty fast. Now I put punctiation on decent, cause you definitely wont get world class, but you will be able to turn a couple of heads in amazement whenever there is a piano around.
As I told you I can definitely recommend the site that helped me back in the day, http://bestpianolearningsoftware.com/
Check it out and I think you will find the answers to alot of your questions there.

Question by watermelon.: Im 18, I want to start teaching piano lessons. Is that a good idea?
I have been playing the piano for five years. I can read music well and have books up to Repetoire level 9, but I mostly learn all the music I play by ear. A lot of people say I’m quite good. I want to take on a second job, and I was thinking maybe I could teach piano lessons to kids for a cheaper price than all the adult teachers around here. How would I go about marketing myself?
Best answer:
Answer by Rose I’m not a professional at this, but if it were me, I would ask around the schools in the area, talking to the head of the music department. Maybe get an add in the school newsletter, or see if they will let you put up a flyer.

Question by Zero: What’s a good practice so you can play piano songs by ear?
I just saw my friend play the piano and I requested a song that she didnt tried playing in the piano in her life. After hearing the sample, she played it good and she said she just played it by hearing the song..
I can’t ask help from her since she’s not that good of a tutor.
I tried hearing a very familiar song and tried playing it.. But of course, it was difficult..
So what is the best practice so I can play piano songs by ear?
Best answer:
Answer by Mi I think the best practice depends on the type of music you are referring to. I am going to guess you heard a particular pop song. If so, the chord structure of pop songs is mostly based on classical music structures. I’ve played piano my whole life and each song I play I study the chord progressions. Then when I hear a song some of the main chord progressions I will recognize: The easiest progression being I, IV, V. (the one chord, the four chord and the five chord). Start by identifying the key – the chord the song keeps coming back to. I’m simplifying this a lot for the sake of this quick description but the idea is there for you to consider. Later you will learn to recognize the other chords (basically there are usually 7 main chords build on the 7 notes of the major or minor scale the tune is in – moving from one to the other and then often back to the one chord – the root or tonic chord. All these progressions make up the basic structure of the harmony on top of which is a melody). You can learn this by learning to play the piano and thinking about the chord structures of the songs you are learning. Then when you hear a song you can be sure you will recognize the patterns you studied. I hope this has been of some help. Its a start. I am sure I am missing many other angles to this. Good luck and I know you can do this if you listen and give it some time more or less. Patience helps too! Studying music theory is the best solution to this. Shouldn’t take more than 3 years of studying music theory to get a grasp of this.
I included a good music theory website. There’s lots there but start a little at a time.
Question by christoph v: Are the piano lessons in Garageband any good?
I have a Mac, and I have Garageband of course, but I would have to upgrade to get the Piano Lessons. As someone who hardly knows the basics, do the lessons teach you that? Are the tutorials worth the price?
