@vanrok I was like this some time back. Just practice, more, and more

@vanrok It helps a LOT if you figure out which fingers press keys at the same time and then just remember the pattern. I’ve been playing piano for a month now and I was able to perfect this song within a week by doing that. Good luck!

@vanrok all piano players expirience this

Oh, and the most important thing when trying to combine both hands – play SLOWLY. Note by note if needed. Very slowly. First you need to make sure you get the hand coordination right. After that, just play it for a while (accurately!) and the speed will come naturally.

For all of you who have trouble separating left hand from the right – try this. Learn one hand first. Learn it really really well until you’re so comfortable with it that you’re practically not thinking about what you’re playing. Not even looking at your hand. Your hand will start playing the notes automatically. It’s called muscle memory and you have to give it time – It will come naturally.
Then do the other hand as well and try combining. It’ll be much much easier putting it together then.

It sounds more badass when you play two octaves with your right instead of just one.

@TheCraigy83
the best thing i found to do was to learn the right hand single notes perfectly first so you can play without looking at that part, then add in the left hand and PRACTICE

what if your left hand won’t cooperate?
January 21st, 2012 at 7:38 pm
@vanrok It’s just a matter of being able to multitask. People with ADD like myself tend to have it easier when it comes to piano haha

A tip for all of you struggling with doing the left and right hands at the same time. I was too until i did this… figure out where in the right hand the chord changes are. that way you don’t need to count to 4, you can focus on your right hand and just change your left as you hit the notes with your right. give it a shot.
