Hi! my name is Dino. Since young, I wish I could be a pianist like Beethoven. (You know… the inspiring musician that established by playing piano…)
Well… As I say, is just “I wish” at that moment. At that time, my family background did not allow me to do so… Since then, my dream just fades out as time goes.
Until few months ago, while I am surfing my internet just for my past time, I saw this fantastic and motivating webpage. It gives me back my childhood dreams.
The title it selves, “ROCKET Piano”, already give me an impression that this lesson will teach us the fastest way to learn piano.
Wow!!! ROCKET!!! Fastest way!!!Importantly, it is cater for every learner from beginner to intermediate to advance!!! Great!!! I can be as good as my friends that learn piano for years by using lesser time as compared to my friend learning piano thru conventional method.
Anyway, my main reason to learn piano NOW is to entertain my selves and also people around us. I’m not going to spent most of my time shutting myself up to perfect every key to pass my grade exam.
As a beginner, I have a choice to downloadFREE beginner piano lessons or take up the whole course. I decided to take up the whole course because it include all essentials on top of beginner piano lessons. PLUS, it is much cheaper as compared to learning piano using conventional way.
This learn piano software includes beginner piano lessons. On top Beginner piano lessons, it include intermediate and advance piano lessons as well. It is a series of eBooks, games and MP3.
So as you can see, this is not normal beginner piano lessons but is a learn piano software that gives a comprehensive and FUN learning process.
Question by : What do piano teachers do exactly when they ask the students to come in for an initial evaluation?
I have a little daughter beginning to have piano lessons and my daughter would be brought to the teacher to be “evaluated”. What exactly should I prepare for and what will the teacher ask her/us to do, and how long would that evaluation last?
I want to know what teachers usually do, and ask around before asking the teacher, so I won’t sound ignorant of the matter. Thank you.

Answer by lainiebsky Most teachers just want to know if they would be a good teacher for the child. Things the teacher is probably looking for are signs that the child is motivated to learn, that the child is mature enough to focus on a lesson, and that the child has developed enough manual dexterity to handle an instrument. The teacher will probably talk about what he or she expects from students and will ask you and your daughter to agree to some basic terms (things like regular practice, the teacher’s policy on making up missed lessons, and so on). For a young child, a half hour is probably the maximum length for an evaluation.

Question by XoXaouiP: I have just begun studying Piano and I want to know if I can improve my playing by using only a synthesizer?
I an planning to do so because I don’t have enough money to buy an upright piano. I have also another question about the Middle C, is it always in the middle of the keyboard whether we’re speaking about a synthesizer or a real piano ?
Thank you very much for helping me, I am looking forward to reading your answers.
Best answer:
Answer by Ava T Yes, it will help if you can’t get to a piano. Beats nothing.
Middle C is always in the same place on any keyboard. Some keyboards have fewer octaves than others but, it is usually near the center, more right than center.
Cheers!
edit: Nothing beats learning the touch of a piano, try a conservatory if ones around.

Question by Jerry K: What is the difference between a 88 key piano and a 73 key piano?
And if I knew how to play a 88 key piano would I have to learn have to play a 73 key piano.
Best answer:
Answer by mike1942f The part you mostly play is identical. The shorter keyboard is missing about half an octave at the top and at the bottom where most songs do not involve playing. If you do songs that extend to the very end of 88 key unit, then you will have problems with the shorter. Also short bad for 4 handed duets on one piano.

Question by Natasha M: How many keys do a normal adult sized piano have?
I am interested in purchasing a piano for my daughter, but I can’t afford a very large piano right now. I would still like to get her a small one for Christmas, and the ones that I saw had 30 keys, so I was just curious as to how many keys a normal piano has. If anyone knows, I would really appreciate if you could help me. Thank you very much for your time and advice.
